Autibiography and diary, 1874-1882.

Handwritten autobiography and diary. The autobiography was written in 1878 in which Hill writes about his family, his migration from Nauvoo, Illinois, to Utah, and his service as a missionary for the Mormon Church to the Indians in Idaho. His diaries cover the years 1874-1875 and 1882 when Hill was serving as a missionary to the Indians near Corrine, Utah, and near Park City, Utah. Also included are lists of Indian words in the Shoshoni and Ute languages and family genealogies.
